House of Cha Cha, the production/overdub/mixing room of producer, mixer, remixer and multi-instrumentalist Ben Rubin, exists to create music, from the genre-bending to the pure, that moves butts and brains. Lacking musical boundaries, Rubin has produced and mixed hip-hop with Killah Priest, electronica with Karsh Kale and Mudville, jazz for the SmallsLive and Ropeadope labels with Bernstein/Goldings/Stewart, Louis Hayes, Will Vinson, Tim Ries, Harold Mabern, Scott Hamilton, Dred Scott Trio, Emilio Solla, Walking Distance feat. Jason Moran and others. He has also guided artists as diverse as Marshall Crenshaw and Luther Wright and the Wrongs into the world of EDM.

House of Cha Cha is a full-service production room. Whether you require a co-writer to generate new material or a producer to curate your existing material into full commercial record; whether you need someone to mix your tracks in Pro Tools or  someone to take the tracks you mixed at home to the next level, Ben Rubin and House of Cha Cha is the place. We are set up to track overdubs, including vocals, on vintage mics and rare preamps or mix full large track-count records, through the Neve 8816 and outboard gear, or In-the-Box with today’s top plug-ins. We even offer Mixing/Pro Tools lessons by request. All projects are tailored to meet your budget.
